Jonathan Field

Currently celebrating his 25th year at West Byfleet Professional shop. Our Head Professional, Jonathan has been a fully qualified PGA Professional for over 10 years and is very passionate about the game.

He teaches both Adult and Junior golfers on a daily basis from County level to complete beginners.
Using his skills and expertise to tailor each lesson to the needs and requirements of his students, thus creating a complete development roadmap.
He is a a strong advocate for the next generation of golfers and runs a number of groups for the junior golf pathway at West Byfleet.

Nick Peters

Nick has been the Assistant Professional here at West Byfleet Golf Club for the past 9 years and has been a fully qualified PGA Professional since 2019.

Nick showed a passion for golf since the age of 2 which is when he picked up his first golf club and began his golfing journey. Gaining a scholarship at The Wentworth Club and subsequently he played for both County and Country as a junior.

Nick is the backbone to our highly successful junior programs at West Byfleet, and has assisted in building some up to county level, of who he still teaches.

Nick also teaches many of the West Byfleet Golf Club adult members with his style working from the basics up. It has been proven time and time again…get your basics right and the rest follows.

He believes that we should all enjoy the game of golf and aims to pass on the skills, knowledge and enjoyment that golf has taught him, the game that he has grown up with and loves playing.

Joe Peters

Joe has been working at West Byfleet for 8 years and has really developed his skills across the industry. In particular, Joe is a real asset when it comes to our successful electric trolley repairs and servicing.

His knowledge for our products we stock in shop is always excellent, offering the finest of customer service and going above and beyond.

Daisy Macve

Simplistic, measurable and efficient coaching for all, Daisy will leave no stone unturned to enhance your skills and enjoyment of the game.

Ex-footballer turned golfer, she started later than most aged 15 and threw herself in the deep end to learn from some of the best. She spent her early years shadowing many coaches and sports professionals, whilst also building her own game up to county level. She has been a PGA Professional for over 10 years and offers coaching to everyone. Daisy also runs coaching holidays abroad, that have proven very popular.

Considering herself a sponge, always learning and absorbing new information as the game continuously develops. Daisy is a big believer that it is never too late to learn!

Her coaching philosophy is based around angles and patterns making it simple and measurable. Like any good sports person, the focus should be on the process, learn your pattern and improve your outcome.
